Palineism
When a person with a public voice makes a vocabulary blunder. Usually creating a whole new word, ie; “misunderestimate”. Then

after being called on the mis-speech, they claim to be right, or “selfjustified”.

Reporter; Boy, just listen to all that Palineism!
